Agents for everyone

Useful AI agents should be available to everyone. A person at home or an employee without a technical background should be able to put an agent to work as easily as opening an app.

We believe the world will use a vast range of specialized agents, built by independent developers, creators, experts, and businesses. People understand different problems and bring different judgment to solving them. No single company will build the best agent for every need.

Access should not depend on knowing how to run a server, manage API keys, or maintain software. People should be able to choose a finished agent, understand what it can do, give it permission, and pay for its work.

Agent Rails is our plan for the payment and infrastructure platform beneath that experience. Hosting, permissions, updates, and payments belong in the platform, so useful agents can reach people who would never operate the underlying technology themselves.

We will begin with our own specialized agents for consumers and businesses, some paid and others free to make useful help widely available. Their purpose is to demonstrate utility and repeated demand while we build and secure the shared rails they run on. Each product will help us develop the platform through use. Then we will open those rails to other builders, so anyone can build an agent and bring it to market. A distributed marketplace of specialists can grow around the people who know each problem best.

Paid products can bring in revenue from the start. The long-term business is payments and infrastructure for the wider agent market. Our ambition is to provide the rails through which the world interacts with agents, whoever builds them.

The purpose is to make the benefits of AI available beyond the people who know how to build it. Anyone should be able to find capable help for the work and life in front of them.
